Educational Attainment in Creative Cities

Abstract

Following narratives of urban cultural policy, this study looks at social, cultural, and economic predictors of educational attainment composition in Austin, Texas. Spatial econometric methods are used to more fully explicate interactions between social cultures, gentrification, and higher education in urban spaces.
