Using data from the 2012 NAEP-Economics 12th grade Assessment, we constructed multiple hierarchical linear models to examine both student- and school-level effects on economics content knowledge. We report results for composite economics scores as well as three main content areas in economics tested by NAEP-E: market, national, and international economics.
