From Faculty Agency to Organizational Learning Through International Collaboration

Abstract

This study examines in what ways an international professional development partnership supports institutional change in sustainable and non-ethnocentric ways by fostering contextualized agency through critical reflection among faculty for improvements to teaching and research. Results from the two-year collaboration reveal that international partners can facilitate, rather than dominate, organizational learning through internationalization despite isomorphic pressures.
