Knowledge production is political. As such, this text, written in epistolary form, seeks to examine knowledge production through a Black feminist framework. Epistolary form is strategically used as both a choice of refusal and a modality of possibility through which to illuminate the author's commitments to (1) decentering western epistemologies, (2) disrupting hegemonic codes of intellectuality and intelligbility in an attempt to (3) to engage black women’s epistemological orientations not only as sites of resistance, but too as sites of possibility.
