Cohort Effects in Developing Economic Knowledge by College Students: A Combined Cohort-Longitudinal Study

Abstract

Findings from a German study using a combined cohort-longitudinal design will be reported. Bachelor-level students in different semesters of study were assessed repeatedly in order to measure the compositional and cohort (sub-group) differences in the development of economics content knowledge.
