Abstract

In this paper we examine the impact of whiteness on teacher education in relation to American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) curriculums. Specifically we examine states where AI/AN curriculums are required to be taught in kindergarten-through-grade-twelve (K-12) public schools to examine what types of related teacher training programs are in place (if any).
