Abstract

From the early 2000's until 2018 three young, powerful, womxn of color engaged in Youth Organizing work in the Denver-metro area. Each of us has our own journey, our own unique life-altering experiences, and our own battle wounds. This piece is the beginning of our collective story to share "real talk" about youth organizing. We seek to share both the pain and the love of our journeys with the intention of building up the field and envisioning areas for growth, healing, and improvement. While we do not claim to have all the answers, we believe that by being in conversation with one another, we may find the strength to bring our vision to fruition. We invite you to join us.
