This research describes the development and use of a co-curriculum evaluation instrument. The instrument is innovative in that it requires the student to complete a checklist of learning outcomes from their unique experience, rate the experience and how they developed using items with a Likert scale response, document the types of interprofessional interactions that took place, and perform a guided reflection on the experience. Results suggest that students were able to differentiate the learning outcomes achieved from different activities. Additionally, that students identified how co-curricular experiences differed from prior experiences and that the experiences complemented what they have learned in the curriculum. This suggests that the activities are successful at meeting these goals outline in the co-curriculum model.
