Session Type: Structured Poster Session
This structured-poster session takes a cultural-historical approach to thinking about the role of educational activity in critically responding to the Anthropocene by convening a collaborative network of university and community partners (UC-Links) to present a range of program models, activities and research in understanding and acting upon Anthropocene issues. Together, the posters reflect a multidimensional view of on-the-ground responses to these issues through community partnerships and multi-generational engagement in STEM and global citizenship activities. This session includes a discussion of strategies for working across institutional boundaries to advance collaborative work between organizational stakeholders to create authentic, action-oriented, problem-solving partnership efforts to promote the public good – efforts drawn from the experience of session participants to potentially fuel future collaborations.
