Session Type: Roundtable Session
This session will focus on examining the impact of parental characteristics, such as parental education level and parental nativity status, on the skills of their children as adults. It will also look at the literacy skills of parents and associations between childbearing, literacy, and health status. All the studies use data from the Program for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC).
