Session Type: Symposium
In order to report meaningful data on student achievement in the digital era, the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) has transitioned to digitally based assessments (DBA). While the NAEP DBA reflect changes in our classrooms and allow NCES to measure what matters, they also allow for additional information to be collected and for information to be collected and reported in new ways. In this symposium, we will discuss the affordances of DBA through demonstration of the item types and interfaces, as well as discussion of the data collected, and the accessibility of the NAEP DBA.
