Abstract

This session investigates whether seductive details are harmful to learning when students are deceived to take seductive details as important information, eye movement is applied to understand the effects of employing multimedia learning, achievement emotions and the mechanism of how the emotional contagion influence attritions in MOOCs, the influence of a multimedia-enhanced informal science learning event at a natural science museum on museum visitors’ internal and external motivation to take environmental action, and the influence of online case-based discussions on students’ cognitive presence, perceived learning and satisfaction.
