Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
When the apocalypse comes, who will be on your end-of-the-world, zombie-fighting team? A team of multidisciplinary education researchers, that’s who! When scholars and practitioners in ed research team up, there’s no problem we can’t face nor evil we can’t vanquish. This year, the GSC presents an Invited Speaker Session to help you navigate the promise and perils of collaborating on a multidisciplinary team. You will team up with other graduate students, meet your mentor, and work together to solve a current problem that we face in the education community. At the end of the session, teams will pitch their solutions to a panel of experts. You’ll leave with an interdisciplinary network of crime-fighting colleagues and a new set of skills for collaborating with folks outside your field.
