Presidential Forum on Black Students in Bay Area Schools

Abstract

This town hall-style presidential forum will engage Black families; middle and high school students; K-12 teachers, counselors, and school/district leaders; clergy; community members; and philanthropists in the San Francisco Bay Area. Four AERA members will identify themes during the town hall that can lead to a robust research and practice agenda that will greatly improve educational opportunities, experiences, and outcomes for Black children in and around San Francisco.
