Using narrative inquiry, this qualitative study of Black gay males’ school experiences in Atlanta took place in 2014 and places race and sexuality at the center of how these young males navigated through racist and heteronormative schools. Their narratives tell what they faced in schools and how these experiences led them to self-possession; an acceptance, pride, and love of their intersecting identities.
