This study explores the relationship between Deaf identity, self-esteem, and the intersection of gender in Deaf college students. We examined this relationship using online surveys that included the Deaf Acculturation Scale and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale. Eighty-nine Deaf undergraduate students completed the surveys. Consistent with previous literature, we found that Deaf acculturation and the intersection of gender can influence identity development and self-esteem in Deaf college students. Little is known about the role of intersectionality related to Deaf culture, gender, and self-esteem among college students. To address this gap, this study examines the relationship between identity and self-esteem in Deaf college students and how the intersection of gender plays a role in this relationship.
