Abstract

Most educational change literature approach school improvement or reform from a corporate lens. Few studies attempt a fragmented equity approach.This paper addressed two research questions. In schools implementing organizational equity systems change (1) How do they engage African American students? (2) What effect has these practices had on African American student outcomes?
