STEM lessons are competence-oriented more than knowledge-oriented, it is of considerable significance to collect learning evidence from behaviors and outcomes to design integrated STEM learning. The purpose of the current study is, first, to design a product-oriented learning design tool to integrate STEM learning by developing from the learning outcomes and second, to examine the usability on authoring phases and interactions of this tool. Participatory design and usability evaluation method were adopted to explore the teacher designers’ perceptions on the learning design tool. Findings suggest that the use of the tool design framework appeared to provide effective development guidelines for integrated learning design.
