Abstract

Using computer-based and in-person simulations, this paper explores the impact of a a scaffolded series of engagements so that candidates had the opportunity to implement, think through, and then discuss their approaches to differentiation in teacher education. Our goal here was to both address best practices regarding giving all students productive and meaningful work, and to help our candidates develop the necessary approaches to engaging these topics with family members.
