Abstract

Making comics is a powerful way to help students generate ideas and expand their analytical skills. This paper explores three intertwined threads: the author’s scholarly comics-making practice, what students learn from making comics, and performing visual analysis, which allows students to attend to their learning in different, often deeper ways.
