Abstract

This mixed methods, randomized control trial study is the first rigorous evaluation of a Florida-based college housing intervention. The Southern Scholarship Foundation helps low-income students access college by supplying housing and a structure to meet the other resource needs (safety, food) which often are not fully covered by financial aid at public higher education institutions.
