Session Type: Structured Poster Session
This poster session will explore a number of unique informal environments and the equitable approaches to transdisciplinary learning that take place within them. Five research sites across the US, the UK, and Ireland will be showcased to highlight how research and practice have been combined to help inform theories of youth learning development. A longitudinal study to follow the culturally diverse youth groups across the sites ties this session together and demonstrates the learning pathways for adolescents as they navigate the challenges of 21st century education.
