Session Type: Workshop
Postsecondary education has been challenged to concentrate on not only time to an undergraduate degree, but the preparation of graduates to successfully transition into the workforce. This workshop intends to provide insight on the career readiness of Black students who attended a Predominately-White institution in the south and participated in a program which focused on identity, leadership development, and transition. The workshop will report the findings of the study concerning individuals who graduated from the university in one to ten years and are in various stages in their careers or professional academic program.
