Session Type: Symposium
The outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the U.S. and the subsequent changes brought to the school system have caused increased stress job-related demands among different school stakeholders. In this symposium, we will present five empirical studies focusing on various school stakeholders (i.e., principals, classroom teachers, school social workers, students, and families) to understand their unique challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The symposium will also discuss the protective factors, resilience process, and intervention strategies that could help alleviate the negative consequences caused by this unprecedented public and social crisis.
