Session Type: Invited Speaker Session
Discussions of LGBTQIA issues are often separate from issues of race, class, and ethnic marginalization in schools. To better integrate these issues in practice, practitioner preparation, and scholarship, we bring junior and senior LGBTQIA faculty of diverse backgrounds to speak on their strategies and experiences navigating academia. Speakers are invited to share about their personal experiences and the content of their practice, research, service, and teaching, particularly recently during the context of COVID.
