In this qualitative case study, we describe the experiences of two educators across in the northeastern U.S. Our aim was to understand how these teachers were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the potentially traumatic/stressful events that surrounded it. Data sources included weekly questionnaires, interviews and artifact collection over a four-month period. Initial findings suggest that these teachers experienced primary and secondary stressors, adverse stressors, and responded with various levels of resilience throughout this experience. Educational significance and implications are discussed.
