Virtual teaching enforced by COVID-19 has made university labs and software used for teaching statistics unavailable. Some software is available online, such as “Virtual SPSS,” but students, especially low-income students with slow or unstable internet, have had near insurmountable problems with it. Therefore, we created a set of flexible and powerful Excel programs that can perform any general linear model analysis, allowing delivery of a statistical methods course, from beginning to intermediate, without those labs. We have also taken this opportunity to provide embedded contextual guidance toward correct understanding of analyses. We offer its availability and our experiences here.
