The importance of interprofessional education (IPE) has been increasingly recognized by the health professional schools. Assessment of such educational programs is still limited due to lack of psychometrically sound assessment instruments and scales. We recently described a questionnaire that measures the attitudes of physicians toward IPE based on the domains described in the literature. The current study aims to extend our previous study to include input from diverse allied health professionals to ensure a scale with similar factor structure can emerge from the combined dataset. A principal axis factoring with orthogonal varimax rotation of 22 items produced the same 5-factor solution explaining 59% of the variance. Future multi-center studies will be needed to do a confirmatory factor analysis.
