The school ecology is one in which teachers’ work satisfaction may be impacted by several teacher-and-school-level factors. However, little research has jointly examined the roles of teacher-and-school-level factors in teachers’ satisfaction. We proposed a multilevel model of the relations among teachers’ self-efficacy, lack of school resources, collaborative practices, school academic and safety climates, and work satisfaction. Multilevel SEM revealed that individual levels of teacher self-efficacy were positively associated with teacher collaboration and work satisfaction, and individual levels of teacher collaboration were positively associated with teacher satisfaction. Additionally, school levels of teacher self-efficacy were positively related to school academic climate and safety climate, and academic climate and safety climate were positively associated with school levels of teacher work satisfaction.
