This study investigated the associations between math teachers' classroom practices, students' learning interest, and math performance among middle schoolers. The data for this study was drawn from eighth-grade data of TIMSS - US of 2011. Structural equation modeling method was used to estimate the associations among variables. The result indicated that mathematics content coverage is an important predictor in students’ mathematics achievement, and the effect of content coverage can be transferred through students’ mathematics learning interest. Computers integrated into mathematics classes had a positive influence on students’ mathematics achievement, yet it had a negative influence on students’ mathematics learning interest.
