Abstract

The cognitive diagnostic models (CDM) are latent class models which developed to investigate a class of latent variable, underlying a global skill or attitude.
In this paper, we conduct a Q-matrix validation procedure to the item construct assessed in the Computer and Information Literacy module of the International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS) 2018 for diagnostic purposes and apply CDM to evaluate the model-data fit.
CDM facilitate better design of the large-scale assessment by retrieving multidimensional students attribute profile and test item profile.
