We present findings from three surveys on teaching and assessment in upper secondary school conducted among students and teachers in Norway in the spring of 2020. The purpose has been to understand how these different groups have experienced the home school's assessment and teaching methods in the home school period. The students have experienced great trust from the teachers and flexibility in the teaching but have an experience of being unfairly assessed. Many have experienced little involvement in the assessment work. They have missed working with other students. The teachers have used new teaching and assessment methods, but the teachers have also had an experience of being alone in the work with teaching and assessment during home school.
