Abstract

During the spring of 2020 as well as the current school year (2020-2021), schools are struggling to determine and implement language assessment practices in a remote or virtual learning environment. The proposed presentation incorporates recent research data reports to illuminate current and recommended language assessment practices, address related challenges including validity and equitable access, and offer examples of recommended language assessment practices in a distanced or virtual environment.
