The National Science Foundation’s Discovery Research PreK-12 program (DRK-12) invests in research and development of innovations and approaches to improve STEM teaching, learning, and assessment. This structured poster session sheds light on the program’s contributions to the fields of video-based and online STEM professional development. Featured projects are developing, implementing, and/or studying innovations to support teacher learning with video in virtual environments; exploring the affordances and challenges associated with specific approaches; examining teachers’ patterns of engagement with resources and programs; and examining impacts on teacher content knowledge, teacher practice, and student learning.
