Session Type: Business Meeting
All are welcome to join us at the Mixed Methods Research SIG Business Meeting. In addition to reporting on our SIG’s programming at the conference, we will be presenting the AERA Outstanding Mixed Methods Dissertation Awards. We will also be hosting an open discussion about how the Mixed Methods Research SIG could better support the development of graduate students and new professionals as Mixed Methods Research scholars (i.e. researchers who study the use of mixed methods). Since our founding, our SIG has reserved 25% of the presentation slots for graduate students and new professionals, but we are looking for ideas for how we can be more proactive in helping emerging scholars connect with mentors or other types of programming we could provide. We hope you will join us for this exciting conversation.
