Abstract

One goal of teacher professional development is to positively impact teaching practice in ways that support student learning. Our project utilizes a professional development design focused on supported observation of mathematics teaching to impact teachers’ discussion leading practice. This paper explores the impacts of an observation-intensive professional development on the mathematics discussion leading practice of elementary teachers.
