Undergraduates who experience impostor phenomenon (IP) feel like they are phony and undeserving of their successes, which has been connected to various negative outcomes. IP has been widely examined in four-year institutions; however, community college (CC) students have been disregarded in the research. We aimed to fill this gap by investigating levels of IP in a sample of students from three different CCs. Results indicated most CC students had frequent feelings of IP. Analysis of Variance results revealed significant differences in IP between students with a diagnosed disability and those without such a diagnosis. Differences based on other demographic variables did not reach significance. There were no significant interactions. Results have implications for future research and practice with CC students.
