Artificial Intelligence in Learning and Education

Abstract

The presentation is focused on human learning and education in Artificial Intelligence (AI) supported contexts and with intelligent digital tools. It is based an analysis of research and policy-making documents in Europe, China, and U.S.A. It has two thematic research questions: (1) How learning is changing when human learning and machine learning are connected and what kinds of consequences it has to education and also in working-life as life-long learning, and (2) what kind of ethical issues are emerging with AI in from the viewpoints of schools and other learning environments, and from the perspectives of AI designers and producers.
