Abstract

The abolition of Slavey in the US in a context of transnational struggles for supremacy, Jim Crow laws, and de-segregation, reveals colonialism caused systemic-racism. White Europeans trafficked enslaved African Americans from Africa to the US creating transnational markets of and for people and unethically produced goods. Analysed interview data from Six African-American Male Leaders, educated in segregated schools during the 1960’s Civil Rights Movement, reveals they expected to succeed and did. They gained access to elite de-segregated Universities. White folk sabotaged their self-esteem and grades in a systemically-racist education market. A knowledge to action strategy to cultivate equitable US education systems is presented with transnational significance for eradicating racism and the Black-White achievement gap; a legacy of transnational-colonialist trade wars.
