Fri, April 22, 8:00 to 9:30am PDT (8:00 to 9:30am PDT), SIG Virtual Rooms, SIG-Arts-Based Educational Research Virtual Paper Session Room

Session Type: Workshop

Abstract

This highly participatory, improvisation workshop will engage participants in immersive activities in order to investigate the relationship between improvisation, teaching and learning, and education research. Participants will learn to apply the tenet of principled long-form improvisation that prompts participants to engage in a radical affirmation of difference so as to highlight the ways in which improvisational principles can be used to foster a more creative, inclusive learning environment.
