Session Type: Symposium
Open Science practices are growing among education researchers. It is important that we continue to gain greater understanding of these practices and methodologies and how they are influencing the field. This session will present data about the current state of adoption of open science practices and outline forces limiting and promoting its adoption. It will then discuss strategies for effectively encouraging diversity and inclusion within an open science framework. The novel baseline data about the adoption of open science practices will offer an initial snapshot of the field and how it is evolving.
