Session Type: Symposium
This symposium aims to capitalize on the lived experiences of diverse voices in the field to understand how leaders can truly build inclusive and equitable spaces in the 21st century. The six papers and discussant will address how the lived experiences of the historically marginalized can help inform educators how to lead change in the post-Covid era. The historic nature of colliding pandemics in 2020 has heightened the awareness of various inequities that have been perpetrated by school systems. As leaders in various sectors, the authors who represent religious, racial, and ethnic diversity share a path forward in their stories. The audience, discussant, and authors will learn from each other how to devise a sustainable path forward.
