Session Type: Symposium
There has been increasing interest and urgency in conducting research in and on PDSs that is both rigorous and consistent with the vision initially formulated by the Holmes Group (Holmes Group, 2007). The purposes of the proposed symposium are 1) to consider how research in and on PDSs might be conducted; 2) to highlight recent attempts to foster and coordinate programs of research; 3) to provide insight and support for those interested in initiating research in this area, and 4) to engage session participants in a conversation about the future of PDS research. The symposium will include three presentations, followed by commentary from a discussant. Time at the end of the symposium will be devoted to conversation with those attending.
