The criticality of engaging in social justice work is more pronounced than ever. To address persistent inequities a re-think of P-20 leadership preparation and practice requires profound change for equitable justice. This featured panel of scholars focus on critical social justice scholarship often underrepresented in educational leadership and administration. Panelists discuss issues related to immigration and refugees, gender diversity and transgender inclusion, and race and racism. They discuss the challenges and possibilities of social justice work that combats racism, xenophobia, sexism, and heteronormativity. Through intersectional theoretical frameworks, critical methodologies, and culturally inclusive practices, these scholars forge transformative futures for educational policies, research, and practice.
