Perspectives of peoples within the African Diaspora are needed in the global discourse for exploring and critiquing how the global economy, and society has thrived due to the exploitation of Black people. This discussion will explore the disenfranchisement of Black people through the lens of hip hop and its connection to education, economics, slavery, and overall emancipation.
