Session Type: Symposium
This symposium investigates a set of synchronized large-scale efforts to transform educational systems for equity and sustainability around the world. Presenters will examine four cross-cutting projects that design, implement, scale, and study different education innovations focused on both improving education quality in low-income countries and increasing access to education in these countries—especially for girls, children with learning differences, and families in hard-to-reach rural areas. Sharing research, innovative project designs, and experimental funding arrangements, the symposium opens up global education reform for increased interrogation as well as highlights networked efforts of a single (albeit sprawling) constellation of individuals and organizations committed to scaling education innovations in order to transform global education systems for increased quality and equity.
