Session Type: Paper Session
How can CRT be framed to promote equitable educational practices and improve the quality of education? What are the consequences of failing to include CRT in educational research? What can we, as educators and researchers, do to promote CRT in practice, and increase its usage and applicability within academic spaces? In this session, panelists and participants will engage in conversations about the power and potential of CRT to promote equitable education in research and practice. Collectively, such dialogue will serve as a means to cultivate critical and timely discussions around the ways in which CRT can be used to critique current education systems, and promote social justice in education research, learning and practice.
