Romeo Jackson (They/Them) is a Queer, Non-Binary Femme, and a Black descended of the estimated 11 million Africans who were kidnapped and sold into enslavement. Currently, Romeo is the Political Education Coordinator at Black Youth Project 100 and PhD student at Colorado State University. Their research, writing, and practice explores Race/ism, anti-Blackness, and Settler Colonialism within a Higher Education Context with an emphasis on the experiences of Queer and Trans Students of Color. Romeo will speak to the ways QOCCAE can be mobilized in student affairs practice.
