Dominique C. Hill, Ph.D, is a Blackqueer feminist whose written and performed scholarship interrogates embodiment with foci in Black girlhood, vulnerability, education, and artistic expression. Hill, in research and praxis, extends the field of Black girlhood studies as an assistant professor of Women’s Studies at Colgate University. A scholar-artist and co-visionary of a queer feminist arts-based collective, Hill will share how QOCCAE guides collective scholarship in Hill L. Waters as well as how centering Black girlhood enhances our understanding of QOCCAE, its contours, and applications.
