Abstract

Increase the representation of women professors and individuals who come historically underrepresented groups in society is one of the major demands for economics departments worldwide. Through a mixed-method approach, this paper discusses how economics departments in Chile allow the entrance of women and individuals from working class into the economics academic departments.
